Formerly Master of Spirituality. In Spring 2020, the course name was updated to Master of Spiritual Philosophy.
This thought-provoking course consists of 20 lessons and takes a holistic look at religion and spirituality through Philosophy.
You will review the schools of thought that developed from the worlds most well known philosophers. The useful lessons will inspire an authentic approach for ministering to science-minded people. This course begins with sharing the foundational work of some of the greatest philosophers of the ages. It then moves on to delve deeper into the development of their philosophies to explore how the expression of their work shapes our experiences each day.
Untangle what Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Nietzsche, Freud and others had to say about how spirituality is relevantly applied within different approaches to philosophy such as Empiricism, Marxism and Relativism.
Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a Master of Spiritual Philosophy diploma from the ULC Seminary.
